Homeowners can visit the new Keppel EaaS Experience Centre at HDB Hub in Toa Payoh to learn more about CCS and Keppel’s engineering and purpose-built designs in a physical mock-up of a typical home unit. (Keppel)
The cooling systems will serve 3,500 households.
Keppel’s infrastructure division secured the contract to design, build, own, and operate Centralised Cooling Systems (CCS) for three upcoming Build-to-Order (BTO) projects in Tengah.
The projects are Brickland Weave, Plantation Edge I & II, and Plantation Verge.
The CCS will serve approximately 3,500 households across the three Housing & Development Board (HDB) projects.
Under the 20-year contract, Keppel will work with HDB to deliver the CCS to each home.
The CCS will be connected to Keppel’s Operations Nerve Centre (ONC) for remote control and real-time performance monitoring.
