LHN takes on Bukit Timah site rejuvenation
It will build co-living spaces set to operate in 1H25.
LHN Group subsidiary, LHN Facilities Management, bagged the state tender for 260 Upper Bukit Timah Road.
The LHN unit will rejuvenate the site “into an integrated mixed-use community node for Rail Corridor users and communities at Upper Bukit Timah, featuring co-living spaces and a wide variety of well-curated community-centric offerings that foster family bonding and promote social interaction.”
LHN also plans to repurpose a section of the site to create co-living spaces to be operated by its subsidiary, Coliwoo.
LHN expects to open its co-living and shared public spaces in the first half of 2025.
The site, where the former Bukit Timah Fire Station was, is close to the upcoming Hume MRT Station in the Downtown Line.
The site also has easy access to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Bukit Batok Nature Park and recreational corridors – the 24 km-long Rail Corridor and the 36 km-long Coast-to-Coast Central Trail.
