Number of executive condos sold in October hit all-year low

Only 99 units were sold.

According to Maybank Kim Eng, Singapore developers launched 1,124 private homes (excluding ECs) in Oct, and
sold 1,009 units (-19% MoM).

Cumulative homes sales for 10M13 was 13,675 units, which was 32% lower than the same period last year. The number of EC units sold in Oct was an all-year low of 99 units in the absence of any launch.

Temporary hiatus for EC launches in Oct. The 99 EC units sold in Oct came mainly from Forestville (34 units; median ASP SGD721 psf), Lush Acres (30 units; median ASP SGD815 psf) and Sea Horizon (20 units; median ASP SGD805 psf).

This is expected to change in Nov, after the recently launched 506-unit Skypark Residences at Sembawang was reportedly oversubscribed by three times, with units priced at SGD750-820 psf.
