One of the last District 9 residential sites put on sale: CBRE
The site, which has two land plots, will be on sale until 8 June 2022.
One of the remaining freehold residential landed sites within District 9, Singapore’s shopping haven, will be put up on sale via public tender until 8 June 2022, announced real estate firm CBRE.
The site, 5 Oxley Rise, is situated on a hilltop and is composed of two land plots, with a combined site area of 151,205 square feet, CBRE said in a statement.
It also has a two-storey bungalow, which had former tenants who are Singapore’s historical figures, including Sir Manasseh Meyer and Cheong Eak Chong.
Potential developers and owner-occupiers are also free to choose a few residential landed options such as redeveloping the site to accommodate a single large mansion, strata or a mixed-use landed development, or multiple Good Class Bungalows, subject to approval from the relevant authorities.
With the site’s prime location, Michael Tay, chief of Singapore capital markets in CBRE, said they are expecting the asset to attract offers in excess of $300m.
