Pinetree Hill sells 28% of 520 units at launch
A lot of larger units at upper floors notedly sold during launch.
Pinetree Hill, the first residential launch in the Pandan Valley and Pine Grove neighborhood in 14 years, sold an estimated 28% of its 520 units at launch.
PropNex CEO Ismail Gafoor observed that a large portion of the buyers are owner-occupiers looking to purchase a unit to stay, judging from the number of larger units (3, 4, or 5 bedders) that sold on higher floors.
“As with Grand Dunman, we observe that most of the buyers at Pinetree Hill are Singaporean citizens,” Gafoor said on behalf of PropNex, which sold 70 of the units in UOL's Pinetree Hill.
In the coming months, Gafoor said that the sales performance of Pinetree Hill and Grand Dunman, which also launched in the same weekend, bodes well for the five new projects slates to be opened for booking in August 5 and 12.
“Buyers are spoilt for choice with a slew of launches out in July and August, before the start of the Hungry Ghost Festival on 16 August,” Gafoor said.
“With this steady supply of launches, we expect buyers to compare and evaluate their options, and could return to pick up units at previously launched projects, should these be more suitable for their needs and budget,” he added.
