Primary sales volume for June 2013 pegged at 1,200-1,500 units
More activity in RCR, CCR.
According to Colliers International, market exuberance has somewhat subsided with primary sales volume fluctuating in a relatively more sustainable band. Going forward, while the mass-market segment is expected to continue dominating market sales, narrowing price gaps have created a window of opportunity of homebuyers looking for value buys in the central region.
As such, the RCR and CCR may see more activity in the future.
Here's more from Colliers International:
Meanwhile, the effects of the market cooling measures and renewed concerns regarding the patchy recovery of the world economy will likely to continue to keep homebuyers on their toes and adopt a more cautionary view on home-buying in the meantime. Additionally, the June school holidays may also keep some buyers away.
As such, primary sales volume for June 2013 is expected to continue in the normalised band of 1,200-1,500 units.
