
Private condo resale prices down 0.2% in September
Volumes slipped 0.7% to 702 units resold.
Resale condo prices dipped 0.2% MoM in September led by the 1.2% MoM decrease in the prices of core central region (CCR), SRX Property revealed.
Prices of resale flats in the rest of the central region (RCR) also slipped 0.8% whilst prices of those located outside the central region (OCR) recorded a price increase of 0.5%, setting a new record high for the area since June 2013.
Compared to prices in September 2017, private resale condo prices jumped 10.8% YoY. However, it was down 0.5% from the peak in July. On a QoQ basis, resale condo prices rose 1.5%.
Resale volumes also slipped 0.7% MoM to 702 resale units from the 707 units resold in August 2018. The volumes crashed 44.3% YoY compared to the 1,260 units sold in September 2017.
