Redeveloped Farrer park site to receive strong appeal from buyers, analysts say

The project may appeal to sports enthusiasts.

HDB’s redevelopment of a Farrer park site into a public housing estate with integrated sports facilities may have a strong appeal on buyers, especially sports enthusiasts, real estate experts said.

In a statement, OrangeTee said the project, which is a build-to-order (BTO) site, will have leverage compared to newer BTO flats in the location.

Aside from being near ample amenities and Mass Rapid Transit stations, the sports theme and facilities in the site will catch the attention of young couples and sports enthusiasts.

For Huttons Asia, the site is possibly the first sports and recreational facilities and HDB flats that are integrated and developed together.

The site could get a subscription rate of more than 10 once it is launched, Huttons Asia also noted.
