Singapore is ranked as the world's fifth most property-obsessed nation with residents spending over 3.2 hours conducting property research, according to a report from HSBC.

The United Arab Emirates holds the title as the world's most property obsessed country with adults allotting more than a quarter of the day (6.6 hours) for weekly property research, marking a gap from second-placer US where adults set aside 4.95 hours per week.
Taiwan and Mexico occupy the spot before Singapore at 4.54 hours, and Mexico 3.56 hours respectively.
The UK and Australia occupy 6th and 7th place, where adults set aside in 2.65 and 2.51 hours per week. Canada and Franc Canada and France round out the list with adults allotting 2.08 hours and 1.74 hours on a weekly basis.
HSBC commissioned Toluna to conduct an online survey across 10 different markets for responpdents aged 21 years and above.
