Singapore retains its crown as the most livable city for Asian ex-pats
The city remained on top given its low crime rates.
Singapore remains the most livable city for Asian expatriates, according to ECA International’s Location Ratings.
ECA rates cities based on liveability factors such as availability of health services, housing and utilities, isolation, access to a social network and recreational and leisure facilities, infrastructure, climate, personal safety, socio-political tensions, and air quality.
Singapore’s low crime rates make it an attractive location for expats, said ECA.
Behind Singapore are Tokyo, Japan (2nd), Wellington, New Zealand (2nd), Adelaide, Australia (2nd), and Brisbane, Australia (5th).
