UOL to launch preview of AMO Residence on 9 July
It will be completed in 2026, with unit prices starting from $1,890 psf.
UOL Group Limted, Singapore Land Group, and Kheng Leong Company, with a 60:20:20 stake, will start the preview for the AMO Residence on 9 July, the first major presidential project along Ang Mo Kio in eight years.
In a statement, UOL said AMO Residence, which is expected to be completed in 2026, will have 372 units across 25-storey towers at Ang Mo Kio Rise, off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
The residential project, located within the vicinity of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Lower Peirce Reservoir Park, and a low-rise private housing estate, adopts a luxury concept with unit prices starting from $1,890 per square foot.
A two-bedroom unit at the 99-year leasehold development starts from $1.26m, a three-bedroom from $1.81m, a four-bedroom unit from $2.48m, and a five-bedroom starts from $2.85m.
The two- to five-bedroom units range from 614 square foot (sq ft) to 1,475 sq ft, whilst the three exclusive penthouses for sale measure 2,293 sq ft to 2,479 sq ft. Over 80% or 300 units were composed of two and three bedrooms.
“AMO Residence blends harmonious architecture with reservoir-themed landscape design that is inspired by the surrounding nature and greenery. It will be another high-quality project with strong product attributes that will attract buyers looking for a liveable home,” said Jesline Goh, UOL chief investment and asset officer.
“AMO Residence is likely to attract owner-occupiers due to the limited supply of new developments in the Outside Central Region, as well as the availability of units at an attractive price quantum,” she added.
UOL added that two levels of facilities were allotted for several leisure activities at three zones which include a clubhouse, a 50-metre infinity lap pool, spa pool, outdoor fitness station and gymnasium, yoga pad, and gourmet dining pavilions for hosting private events.
A 20-kilometre-long cycling path around the estate is being constructed in phases and will make Ang Mo Kio the first fully developed walking and cycling town in Singapore.
The property is also a five-minute walk to Mayflower MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and one-stop to Bright Hill MRT interchange on the future Cross Island Line. It is also well-connected to other parts of the island via the future North-South Corridor, reducing the travel times to the Central Business District by up to 30 minutes.
Several popular schools are within one kilometre of the Residence such as Ai Tong School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School and Ang Mo Kio Primary School, and it is also in the vicinity of restaurants and shops at Junction 8, AMK Hub and Thomson Plaza.
UOL added that the 640-unit Clavon residential property it launched in December 2020 was fully sold in June, whilst Avenue South Residence and The Watergardens in Canberra launched in September 2019 and August 2021, respectively, have limited units left.
