URA tenders Silat Avenue site that yields 1,125 units
It will also be integrated with the upcoming 24-km Rail Corridor.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) tendered two residential sites at Silat Avenue and Mattar Road for sale under the Confirmed List of the first half 2018 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme. Together, these two sites can potentially yield about 1,375 residential units.
According to an announcement, the land parcel at Silat Avenue will be sensitively integrated with the upcoming 24-km Rail Corridor and five blocks of conserved Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) flats. “There will also be new green spaces, and residents will have direct access to the Rail Corridor, where the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, a future multi-functional community node and key gateway into the Corridor, is less than 2 km away,” URA said.
The site has an area of 22,851 sqm slated for residential with commercial use at the first storey. The development is expected to yield 1,125 housing units.
Meanwhile, the site at Mattar Road has an area of 6,230.2 sqm slated for residential use and 250 housing units.
The tender for the two sites will close at 12 noon on 26 April 2018. The tender closing of these two sites will be batched with another residential site at Cuscaden Road which was launched for sale on 27 February 2018.
