Check out Megafash’s themed retail stores for local indie brands
Three stores were opened along Orchard and East Coast.
Startup company Megafash was founded to connect independent brands and creative projects across Asia. Rebranded from Chic Kiss Love, it built a marketplace platform which allows visitors to shop from 300 female fashion labels on one platform.
Singapore Business Review published a story about the company, and you can find it here.
Since 2014, Megafash takes pride in helping 1,500 brands tell their story to a community of creative & stylish individuals through Megafash.com, the company’s interactive retail stores and curated events.
According to Ngeow Jiawen, CEO and co-founder of Megafash, the company’s aim is simply to bring more products to the customers. As such, Megafash expanded its reach by launching an offline retail store through Megafash Gateway at Orchard Road. The new Megafash retail store is adventure-themed catering to tourists and students alike.
“Expanding further into offline retail allows us to cast an even wider net for our brands. By making them more accessible to the local shoppers who may not be reached online, they are able to capture a new segment of customers,” said Ngeow.
In the upcoming year, Ngeow said that they intend to triple Megafash’s reach and work with even more brands across Southeast Asia. They are also looking to have some partnerships with the local communities in SEA to make it happen.
“We wish to tap into areas we have yet to approach, like Vietnam and Myanmar and bring in authentically local products and brands to the Singaporean customer,” she added.
