Local startup offers women a revolutionary way to swap, sell and resell clothes online
Find out what makes it more than just another shopping portal.
A startup launched early this October is Fashfix, which bills itself as the first revolutionary shopping portal for women.
"A website run by girls, for girls, Fashfix.sg is a site that addresses critical pain points faced by fashion addicts all over Singapore. Fashfix.sg has 2 unique selling points. It is the first online website which allows women to easily swap clothes with each other online to create their own infinite wardrobe," said primary founder Vivien Chia.
"Secondly, Fashfix.sg also stores all buyers' purchases from Fashfix so that if, on physical arrival, the item does not fit, the buyer can easily use the original listing to relist the item on Fashfix for resale. For the first time, women can easily shop, swap, sell and resell clothes from their wardrobes online. Fashfix is a revolutionary and exciting way for women to continually update their wardrobes without spending a fortune," she added.
To point out why it is more than just another shopping portal, Chen said that Fashfix is also a source of fashion inspiration where fashion addicts can peek into the wardrobes and wishlists of the Fashfix community to discover new brands and new styles.
According to Chia, since launching, Fashfix has already garnered almost a thousand members including fashion blogger Dorothy Tan of DforDot.com, fashion blogger Rana Webher-Flinter of BonjourSingapore.com and former fashion stylist, Chloe Zhang, who are all selling items from their wardrobes.
She added that there are over 800 items already listed for sale/swap on the site including high street fashion brands such as Topshop, ASOS, Zara and H&M, blogshop styles from Love Bonito and Oh So Fickle amongst others as well as luxe pieces from Prada, Chloe and Marc Jacobs. Many of these clothes are brand new and cheaper than direct purchase from the stores.
