Parco Marina Bay at Millenia Walk shuts down on 24 February

Let’s call it a day, says management.

After several years of operations in Singapore, Parco Marina Bay at Millenia Walk will finally call it a day.
In an official statement, Parco’s management said Parco Marina Bay will be in operation until Sunday, 23rd February.

‘We will be closed from Monday, 24th February,’ the management said.

The Singapore Business Review reached out to Parco for comment but has not received any at time of publication.

Meanwhile, Pontiac Land Group, developer and owner of Millenia Walk, said it is currently planning for its next move after Parco’s exit.

In an interview with the Singapore Business Review, Michael Su, CEO of Pontiac Land Group, said "We will be taking Parco's departure as an opportunity to reposition and focus on Millenia Walk's renovation and enhancement exercise. In Q2, we will unveil exciting plans for the mall."

Parco Singapore is a fully-owned subsidiary of Parco Co. Ltd.

Its first foray into Singapore was in 1995 when Bugis Junction became the first shopping mall to have a glass-covered, air-conditioned shopping street. Parco sold its stake at Bugis Junction in 2005. Between 2006 to 2009, Parco was the appointed Retail Manager for The Central at Clark Quay.
