This Singapore startup claims it's the first legitimate online beauty store in Southeast Asia
Luxola reveals two-fold facts why it's a better choice.
It claims to be the only store in the region selling 100% authentic products and backed by brands they carry.
Luxola.com bills itself as the first legitimate online beauty store in South East Asia. It was co-founded by 31-year-old Alexis Horowitz-Burdick and 27-year-old Camille Schu in September 2011.
Both women have been in Singapore for over 5 years. Alexis was born in the USA and previously worked in a consulting firm, Camille was born in France and previously worked in Advertising.
Luxola.com started in Singapore in September 2011. 12 months later, Luxola.com started shipping to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Brunei.
Luxola.com recently launched 2 new brands: SK-II, a Procter & Gamble Beauty brand, and American makeup brand Maybelline owned by L'Oréal.
Asked what makes Luxola.com unique from other online beauty stores sprouting elsewhere, founders boasted of the kind of customer service it offers. “ Customers can contact Luxola.com by phone, email, Facebook and Twitter every day. Luxola.com aims to help and accomodate each and everyone of them,” said Camille.
Luxola.com has recently revamped their entire website and relaunched their review program. They have already gathered hundreds of review from Luxola customers.
Luxola co-founders strongly believe that the best advantage of shopping online is not only the convenience but finding recommendations and seeking advice from your peers.
“Luxola.com competes with other online beauty stores selling grey and black market products. Luxola.com is the only online beauty store in the region selling 100% authentic products and being backed by every single brand they work with,” noted Camille.
Luxola.com is planning to ship to more countries in 2013 such as Philippines and Vietnam.
Luxola.com has international team coming from Singapore, Indonesia, India, US, UK, France, Ireland scouting products from all the world and testing every single one of them before they decide to carry them on their website.
