eBay Singapore rolls out user improvements
Cleaner look, personal item curation implemented.
eBay has announced a series of fresh new features and enhancements to its Singapore website. In a release, eBay Singapore said its website now sports "a cleaner and more contemporary look and feel; and a more intuitive, convenient way for customers to browse, decide and buy – both globally and locally."
The site has also created a way for users to curate their own shopping experience and discover items, called the Feed. This feature creates the experience of an online personal shopper by matching customer interest with eBay’s global inventory. "It’s similar to creating a news feed, but instead offers visual inspiration that’s instantly shoppable," the company said.
Additionally, streamlined navigation and headers on the new site provide an easy, consistent shopping experience. The platform also has “view item” pages which offer bigger photos and key product information, plus customers can also link their eBay and PayPal accounts to make check-out faster and easier.
"The changes reflect a new eBay, the only global marketplace with the most choices to connect customers to the things they need and love—anytime, anywhere," said eBay Singapore. The summary of changes can be seen at eBay.com.sg/new .
eBay said the changes give customers greater access to global inventories, better savings and an unsurpassed mobile shopping experience. Singaporeans can now buy from a pool of local listings, and over 40 million new global listings using eBay.com.sg.
Through the changes, shoppers will also have access to more daily bargains, including up to 90% discounts off the recommended retail prices of a range of electronics, mobile accessories, computers and watches. The eBay mobile app is available for Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices in Singapore.
