Online fashion store SEA Citizen launches in Singapore, Malaysia
Delivers Western fashion cheaper and faster.
Online fashion store SEA Citizen, which promises to bring the hottest fashion from London and New York to Southeast Asia faster than international chain stores at "much more accessible prices" and "just days after they are seen on the catwalk," has launched in both Singapore and Malaysia.
SEA Citizen said the store was born out of a desire to bridge the seasonal delay between the runways in Europe and the high streets of Southeast Asia, and addresses a mismatch between fashionable materials and tropical climates.
The online fashion outfit leverages a young and professional design team in London, who religiously follows European and American fashion trends, then redesigns them using high quality, locally-sourced fabrics. The final garments are produced in, and distributed throughout Singapore and Malaysia through SEA Citizen’s online store.
“We want to facilitate the freedom of expression through fashion with SEA Citizen, and hope to discover, delight in and be moved by fashion, together with the community of fashion enthusiasts,” said Zeti Anuar-Mancini, the founder of SEA Citizen.
Now available to shoppers in Singapore and Malaysia, SEA Citizen will soon be expanding into other Southeast Asian markets.
Users can browse the latest seasonal fashion trends in hot new colours through the online catalogue and orders will be delivered to their doorsteps.
