Chart of the day: Unrecyclable products concern Singaporean shoppers the most
Six in 10 shoppers say they are concerned about products that cannot be reused.
Majority of shoppers in the Lion City are concerned about products which cannot be recycled, CBRE said in its latest study.
This concern was also prevalent globally, with 57.8% of respondents worldwide citing non recyclable products as their top concern.
The depletion of natural resources to produce products was the second highest concern in both Singapore (59.1%) and globally (56.7%).
This was followed by the impact of non-natural chemicals used in production in Singapore (47.3%) and worldwide (49.6%).
