Grab partners with CapitaLand for loyalty programme tie-up
Users’ GrabReward points can be converted into STAR$ and exchanged for CapitaVouchers.
Grab has partnered with CapitaLand to offer a one-year tie-up loyalty programme in a bid to capitalise on their respective loyalty programmes GrabRewards and CapitaStar and offer greater value in customers’ shopping experiences, an announcement revealed.
Through the partnership, Grab users can convert their GrabRewards points into STAR$ which is CapitaLand’s own rewards point system, giving them access to perks such as CapitaVouchers on top of benefits from merchants such as Starbucks, Burger King and LiHo.

Likewise, CapitaStar members will be able to access exclusive Grab perks such as promo codes, whilst merchants onboard the CapitaStar programme can also benefit from Grab’s user base. Grab is also working with CapitaLand to introduce GrabPay’s cashless solutions to merchants, the statement revealed.
“Creating a seamless experience in our customers’ everyday experiences including transactions is a core step for Grab in achieving our vision of becoming an everyday super app,” Gary Wong, head of GrabPay Singapore, said in a statement. CapitaLand’s merchants are set to join over 7,000 merchants in Singapore who accept GrabPay, he added.
In December 2018, Grab announced a partnership with mall operator AsiaMalls to establish GrabPay as the preferred payment service providers across AsiaMall’s six shopping malls in Singapore beginning in January.
