SPH REIT to provide assistance scheme for tenants

Tenants will be allowed to operate for shorter hours.

SPH REIT has announced that it will be rolling out a tenants’ assistance scheme to lift tenants’ performance from the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The company also plans to introduce further initiatives in March 2020, to encourage foot traffic on its assets.

At selected malls, more complimentary parking will be offered and preferential rates or full waiver for use of atriums and common areas will be granted for collaborative events.

Tenants will also be given the option to operate on shorter hours to alleviate staff cost and manpower planning, but standard operating hours remain for SPH REIT’s malls.
