Parkson Retail Asia names Tiang Chee Sung as acting CEO for Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia operations

The board believes he has the required experience and in-depth understanding of the retail industry to contribute to the growth of Parkson's retail business in the three countries.

Parkson Retail Asia announced the appointment of Tiang Chee Sung as acting chief executive officer for Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia operations.

Mr Tiang, 55, will be responsible for establishing Parkson Group's operations in Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia, as well as overseeing the operations and business strategy development of Parkson business in the three countries.

In the past, he was assistant general manager for operations at Odel PLC from 2013 to 2014, assistant general manager for operations at Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd from 2009 to 2013 and operations manager at Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd from 2002 to 2009, according to a Parkson Retail Asia report.
