Cosco secures 2 deep water vessel contracts for RMB590m

Vessels to be delivered by 2015.

The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announced that COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd (a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd), has secured a contract from a Chinese company to build two deep water platform supply vessels. Both of them are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2015.

Separately, COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd (which is also a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd.) has secured a contract from the same company to build two anchor handling tug supply vessels. Both vessels are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2015.

The total value for the above contracts is over RMB 590 million.

None of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the contracts.

The above contracts are not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Company for the year ending 31 December 2013.
