Gov’t tops up $3.5m for maritime sector support
Fresh funds will be given to the MaritimeSG Together package to bring the cumulative amount to more than $36m.
The Maritime and Port Authority has announced an additional $3.5 million top-up to the MaritimeSG Together Package, bringing the cumulative amount of support to more than $36 million.
A 50% office rental rebate, and a recovery grant for regional ferry services operators and regional ferry terminal operators will be introduced under the package from 1 July to 31 December.
Mandatory Antigen Rapid Tests for high-risk maritime workers will be subsidised by the government until 30 December.
The following programmes under the package have been extended to 31 December:

50% port dues concession for passenger-carrying vehicles, excluding pleasure crafts for private use

50% port dues concession for offshore vessels for days 91 to 180

100% waiver of public license fees for passenger terminal operations

50% rebates on counter rental and overnight berthing for regional ferry service operators

Maritime cluster fund – internship reimbursement scheme

Enhanced MCF-MD (certifiable course) and selected MCF-MD (short courses)
