MPA invites proposals for electric patrol craft

Submission will close on 14 December.

The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) has launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise for design and development proposals for electric patrol craft. 

Interested parties have until 14 December, 11:59 p.m.

Singapore time to submit their proposals. 

Designs must incorporate safety features such as advanced battery management systems, secure battery compartments ensuring fire, gastight, and watertight integrity, and intelligent cooling systems for thermal management. 

Proposals should also offer efficient charging and battery replacement solutions, as well as autonomous and digital capabilities, including remote operation and advanced collision detection systems.
