Pan Ocean invests $182.86m in medium-range tankers

The first vessel is expected to be delivered on 30 June 2021.

SGX-listed, South Korean shipping firm Pan Ocean will invest in a shipbuilding contract for four medium-range tankers for $182.86m (₩157.37b), according to an SGX filing.

Ratio to the equity capital is 5.92% of $3.09b (₩2.66t). The firm also said that the move aims to strengthen its competitiveness.

The first vessel is expected to be delivered on 30 June 2021, whilst its investment period will end on 27July 2022.
