Yangzijiang clinches 4 orders of 8000 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships
This brings the group's total new orders since January 2022 to $1.4b.
SGX-listed Yangzijiang Group clinched four orders of 8000 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships from Pacific International Lines (PIL).
"The order is a follow-on order from PIL and demonstrates Yangzijiang’s growing capabilities in delivering green vessels," said the group.
The 8,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships will be equipped with a GTT Mark III membrane containment tank system which is ammonia ready. The ships will be progressively delivered in 2025.
PIL's order brings the group's total new orders secured since January 2022 to $1.4b (US$990m) for 16 vessels.

Other vessels which the company will build include four units of 66,000DWT, two units of 63,200DWT bulk carriers, and two units of 36,000 CBM Liquefied Ethylene Gas (“LEG”) carriers.
