Yangzijiang Shipbuilding secures $1.58b year-to-date order-wins
The company now has 147 vessels worth $14.68b.
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding recorded a US$1.18b (SG$1.58b) order win in the first quarter of 2023 or 39% of the US$3b (SG$4.01b) secured order win target for this year.
In its update for the same quarter, the company secured four bulk carriers, one LNG/PG/LEG, and eighteen oil tankers/chemical tankers in its US$1.18b order win.
The company now has 147 vessels -- 39 bulk carriers, 8 LNGs/LPGs/LEGs, 18 oil tankers, and 82 containerships -- under its portfolio, with a total contract value of US$10.98b (SG$14.68b).

Meanwhile, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding delivered 16 vessels, or 28% of its 57-vessel target for the year. Twelve of these are containerships, whilst the remaining 4 are bulk carriers.
