COSCO Singapore Chairman Liu Guo Yuan retires

He is replaced by Ma Ze Hua.

Liu Guo Yuan joined COSCO Group in 1975 after graduating from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and obtained a master degree from the law school of the University of Washington in 1982.

He had been the department head of the Law and Policy Research Department, head of the Executive Division, Manager of the Planning & Project Division in COSCO Head Office from 1984.

In 1991, Liu Guo Yuan was promoted as Senior Commercial Director of COSCO Head Office. Afterwards, he had been Deputy General Manager of Tianjin Ocean Shipping Company and Vice-Chairman & President of COSCO Europe GmbH, President of COSCO Hong Kong. Liu Guo Yuan was recently Vice-Chairman of COSCO Hong Kong.
