Jaya Holdings appoints 2 Directors

Former Navy Chief Chew Men Leong and former Parliament member Ong Kian Min have been chosen as Independent Directors.

The Board of Jaya Holdings announced the appointment of Chew Men Leong and Ong Kian Min as Independent Directors.

Mr Chew, 45, will also be Chairman of the Nomination Committee, and a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees. He was Chief Executive, PUB (National Water Agency) from 2011 till present. and Combat officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy, Chief of Navy from 2007 to 2011.

Mr. Ong, 52 will also be Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination and Risk Management Committees, according to a Jaya Holdings report.

Ong Kian Min is an advocate and solicitor practising as a consultant with Singapore law firm, Drew & Napier LLC. He was elected a Member of Parliament of Singapore and served from January 1997 to April 2011.
