Changi Airport strikes deal with Pteris Global
The contract will furnish the airport baggage high level computer control system.
Mainboard-listed Pteris Global Limited (“Pteris Global”), an integrated airport logistics system provider, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Changi Airport Group (“CAG”) to supply a High Level Computer Control (“HLC”) System for the Baggage Handling System in Terminal 1 at Singapore Changi Airport.
Pteris Global’s HLC system, also known as Pteris Global Airport Logistics Suites or PALS, offers a state-of-art computer controls system with capabilities for baggage handling system monitoring and diagnostics, baggage identification, and baggage sortation allocation control.
Pteris Global, competing with other established industry players from Europe for this tender, was awarded this turnkey project of close to S$1 million to design, supply, install, test and commission a new HLC system to replace the existing system in Terminal 1. This project is expected to be completed by 2013.

To date, Pteris Global’s PALS is deployed in international airports worldwide including Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (USA), Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (Canada), Calgary International Airport (Canada), Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 (UAE), Hong Kong International Airport Sky Plaza Terminal, Changsha Huanghua International Airport (China) and Tocumen International Airport (Panama).
