Collins Aerospace opens Changi hub

It will standardise digital technology solutions across the firm’s MRO network.

Aerospace solutions firm Collins has opened its 10,000 sqft innovation hub in Changi, according to a news release.

The facility will standardise advanced digital technology solutions across Collins’ maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) network, with key focus areas such as robotics, automation, and data science.

It will be the site for Asia Pacific MRO alongside other locations in China, Australia and Malaysia, and one of Collins’ three centres for additive technologies.

Collins aims to add more than 40 new jobs from disciplines including robotics and automation engineering, software development, and data science.
