Pteris Global subsidiary bags S$3.3m order from Qantas

Eight Catering Vehicles are expected to be delivered by August 2013.

Mainboard-listed Pteris Global Limited announced that its wholly-owned Ground Support Equipment subsidiary, AeroMobiles Pte Ltd, has been awarded an approximately S$3.3 million order by Qantas Catering Group Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways Limited.

AeroMobiles will supply eight Hi-Lift Refrigerated Half Cab Catering Vehicles.

According to the announcement, this is a repeat order for AeroMobiles from the largest flight caterer in the southern hemisphere with previous purchases of four Catering Vehicles between 2011 and 2012, two of which were for the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the Qantas Airlines Airbus A380.
