Scoot to operate at Changi Airport's Terminal 1 in October
The move will improve the customers’ check-in experience.
Scoot, the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, will begin operating from Changi Airport’s Terminal 1 (T1) starting from 22 October, an announcement revealed.
The airlines said that the move will enhance their customer’s check-in experience, which it had reportedly identified as one of the top three areas for improvement.

Scoot CEO Lee Lik Hsin said, “With the move, we hope to encourage more customers to use the expanded self-service facilities.
Changi Airport’s T1 has seen massive expansions throughout the years. These include a new central zone at the departure hall for Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST), featuring automated check-in kiosks and bag drop machines and two new baggage claim belts at the arrival area.

The news release also said that Scoot customers can look forward to the newly-opened Jewel Changi Airport, which will allow them to check-in 18 hours early.
