Previously, Vistara only covered Indian domestic flights.
Vistara, the India-based joint venture between Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Tata Sons, will now cover international flights on 6 August upon the launch of its Delhi-Singapore flight route.
This expands its codesharing agreement with SIA which only covers Indian domestic flights. SIA will also add its ‘SQ’ designator code to Vistara’s new flights. In addition, both SIA and SilkAir will add nine new codeshare agreements in 20 locations in India.
The codeshare flights will be progressively made available through SIA and Vistara booking channels once necessary regulatory approvals are obtained.
