Singapore Airlines to boost corporate travel visibility
It will allow businesses to quickly locate and communicate with employees in case of emergency.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has partnered with European software corporation SAP SE to utilise its Concur TripLink web service which connects travellers, itineraries and receipts across multiple channels, an announcement revealed.
Through the partnership, businesses will be able to apply their travel policies to direct bookings with SIA. The scheme will also enable firms to locate and communicate with their employees in the event of an emergency whilst they are on travel.
It also aims to ease potential inconveniences caused by expense reporting and alleviate compliance issues resulting from out-of-policy travel spend, SIA said.
Likewise, SIA will be able to enhance the overall corporate booking experience through personalised products and services for firms and their employees by identifying corporate bookings made through SIA’s website, the announcement revealed.
“Having Singapore Airlines on board the Concur TripLink network provides businesses with greater transparency and control over travel spend, whilst delivering an integrated and intuitive travel experience for employees,” SAP Asia Pacific Japan president Scott Russell said.
