Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines' alliance extended until 2029
There will be 38 weekly return services between New Zealand and Singapore.
Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines’ joint venture alliance has been reauthorized by New Zealand's Associate Minister of Transport until March 2029, enabling them to continue enhancing customer offerings and expanding their global network.
Over the past decade, they've increased seat capacity by nearly 50%, including additional daily services between Auckland and Singapore, and a new service from Christchurch.

This partnership has facilitated over 4.6 million passenger journeys, providing New Zealanders access to Singapore Airlines' extensive network.
The extension will see four daily seasonal services between Auckland and Singapore, enhancing connectivity during peak seasons.
With this, there will be 38 weekly return services between the two countries, totalling over 893,000 seats annually, further boosting travel options for customers.
