
AirAsia launches 1st direct route from Singapore to Sibu, Malaysia
The inaugural flight will take off on 16 December.
Starting 16 December, AirAsia will operate direct flights from Singapore to Sibu, Sarawak in Malaysia.
The airline will operate flights to Sibu four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 1:40 p.m.
Flights back to Singapore are also scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays but at 4 p.m.
AirAsia said the launch of its Sibu route makes them the carrier with the “widest network and largest connectivity” in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Last 29 April, the airline also launched direct routes connecting Singapore to Kuching and Miri in Sarawak.
