All SQ321 crew members return to Singapore

Meanwhile, 52 passengers were still left in Bangkok.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced that all crew members of the turbulence-hit SQ321 flight have returned to the city-state on 27 May.

SIA said 52 passengers remain in Bangkok. Of these, 34 individuals are still receiving medical treatment.

The airline said it has been in contact with those on board SQ321.

“Where requested, we have facilitated travel to Bangkok for their families and loved ones,” it added.

SIA previously announced that the Boeing 777-300ER that operated SQ321 returned to Singapore on 26 May. The company assured it is working with authorities probing the incident.

On May 21, the SIA flight en route to Singapore from London carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members was forced to make an emergency landing in Thailand  after it was hit by severe turbulence.

The incident injured dozens, whilst one passenger died due to a suspected heart attack.
