
Another smooth route: SilkAir flies to Hangzhou
This is the regional carrier’s 8th Chinese destination.
SilkAir confirms that China is an important market, and launching another destination means that the carrier sees potential growth in the country.
Flight MI918, the maiden flight to Hangzhou, departed Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 10:00 today, and is scheduled to arrive in Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport at 3:20. The return flight, MI917 will depart Hangzhou at 4:20, and is scheduled to reach Singapore at 9:25.
The 48th SilkAir destination in SilkAir’s network, Hangzhou’s famous tourist attraction is West Lake, where popular attractions such as Lingyin Temple and Six Harmonies Pagoda can be found. Hangzhou is also famous for its Longjing or Dragon Well Green tea, and boasts acres of lush tea fields growing some of the finest grades of this tea.
