Changi Airport’s passenger traffic slipped 0.9% to 13.1m travellers in Q1

Traffic was weaker across most regions.

Changi Airport today reported that it handled 13.1 million passengers in the first three months of 2015, down 0.9% compared to the same period a year ago.

However, aircraft movements were 1.2% fewer with 28,800 landings and take-offs, and cargo movements fell 4.2% to 162,700 tonnes.

The group stated that traffic was weaker across most regions although there was a 4.7% increase for the quarter for South Asia traffic.
