
Changi Airport passenger traffic up 5.6% to 4.93m in February
More people traveled amidst the Lunar New Year holidays.
Passenger movements for Singapore Changi Airport rose 5.6% YoY to 4.93m passengers in February as more people took advantage of the Lunar New Year Holidays to travel, according to a press release.

Travel to and from the Southeast and Northeast Asia regions represented over half of last month’s growth with China (+13%) and India (+12%) accounting for the fastest growing air markets.
Aircraft movements also increased 6.0%YoY to 29,700 landings and takeoffs, whilst airfreight throughput was stable at 1.4% YoY to 148,930 tonnes.
