Changi, Cairo airport firms partner to develop Cairo International Airport
This will involve a feasibility study for an area for cargo and logistics development.
Changi Airports International (CAI) and Cairo Airport Company signed agreements to develop the Cairo International Airport, the largest airport in Egypt by passenger and cargo traffic.
In a joint statement, the parties said the first agreement aims to improve the passenger experience in the airport in Egypt’s capital city.
The second deal, meanwhile, is for the conduct of a feasibility study to establish the Cairo Cargo City which will be a new area in the airport allotted to cargo and logistics development.
