
Daily Briefing: SIA adds more flights; Singaporeans cautious on buying overseas property

Singapore Airlines will add a sixth daily flight to Bangkok in March, up from five daily flights, the airline said in a press release on Thursday (17 Dec). It will also increase flight frequency to Colombo in Sri Lanka and Milan in Italy for its northern summer schedule from 27 March to 29 October next year. Read more here.
Singaporean buyers are becoming more cautious when it comes to purchasing foreign properties, reported Singapore Business Review citing the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). In its latest Financial Stability Report, MAS revealed that Singapore households pumped $0.4 billion into overseas property transactions in 1H 2015, down from the $1.1 billion injected in 1H 2014.
