Industry and government leaders to discuss aviation risk safety after travel recovery

They will focus on addressing safety risks amidst air travel recovery and global shifts.

A summit will be held from 22 to 24 March 2023 to discuss preparedness on flight risks and how regional collaboration can help resolve challenges, said Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).

In a joint statement, CAAS said more than 400 government and industry leaders will join the three-day summit to address safety risks amidst air travel recovery, mitigating disruptions to air navigation services, including technologies, sustainability in aviation, and mental wellness of professionals in the aviation industry.

CAAS director general Han Kok Juan said the summit shows the initiatives that the authorities are doing to implement aviation safety.

Hassan Shahidi, President and CEO of FSF, said he is looking forward to enhancing safety performance in the industry.
