SIA announces more flight cancellations

Some flight cancellations are extended until July.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and SilkAir have announced more flight cancellations, the company said in a Twitter post. This follows the first two capacity cuts last 25 February and 3 March.

Two flights—SQ1 San Francisco-Hong Kong and SQ001 Singapore-Hong Kong—are cancelled until 1 July.

Although most flight cancellations extend only until April, some lines are closed until June.

The latest round of cancelled flights temporarily reduces SIA’s capacity by around 15%.
