SIA bolsters European services with non-stop flights to Düsseldorf

It’s the third German city in SIA’s routes.

Globetrotting Singaporeans can now visit the Rhine tower with minimal hassle as Singapore’s flag carrier unveils flights to Germany’s most populated federal state starting July next year.

According to a statement by Singapore Airlines, non-stop flights to the third German city in its route network will be using the all-new Airbus A350-900, the latest addition to SIA’s growing fleet.

Pending approval, SIA says flight SQ338 will depart Singapore on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2330 hrs local time.

“With this addition, Singapore Airlines will serve the three largest airports in Germany, including Frankfurt and Munich,” said Lee Wen Fen, SIA’s senior vice president for marketing and planning.

“With the new flights, Singapore Airlines will serve Germany with 38 weekly services. This includes twice-daily flights between Singapore and Frankfurt, daily flights between Frankfurt and New York, daily flights between Singapore and Munich, and daily flights between Munich and Manchester,” the statement said.
