SIA Group passengers rise by 2.5% as travel recovery persists
The total passenger in September stood at 2.1 million.
The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group reported it carried a total of 2.1 million passengers in September across its two airlines, SIA and Scoot.
The Group linked this to the continued momentum of travel recovery that drove strong demand in all route regions except East Asia.
Its September performance is 2.5% higher than the passenger count in the previous month. On a year-on-year basis, the Group capacity saw an increase of 111.8%, reaching 67% of its pre-pandemic level.

SIA’s passenger load factor came in at 87% in September, up 1.6 points month-on-month, and 68.5 points year-on-year.
The Group’s passenger network covered 100 destinations, including Singapore. SIA particularly served 74 destinations, whilst Scoot served 48 destinations.
Meanwhile, SIA registered a load factor of 56.4% in its cargo operations, 31 points lower than the previous year. The cargo network comprised 107 destinations.
