SIA Group's passenger volume rises 17.8% YoY to 3.2 million in April
Despite the increase, the passenger load factor dipped to 87.2%.
Singapore Airlines Group (SIA Group) saw a 17.8% YoY uptick in its passenger volume in April, carrying 3.2 million passengers last month.
Apart from passenger volume, the group’s passenger traffic and capacity also increased in April, rising 11.9% YoY and 13.2% YoY, respectively.
Meanwhile, the airline group recorded a passenger load factor (PLF) of 87.2%, down by 1.1 percentage points.

The group’s cargo businesses also reported positive volume growth in April, with total cargo and mail carried rising 29.1% YoY to 88.8 million kilograms (kg).
The group’s cargo load factor also improved, rising by 7.9 percentage points to 58.6%.
