
Singapore Airlines and Brussels Airlines secure codeshare pact
Agreement allows Singapore Airlines to reach to more destinations within Europe.
From 23 June, Singapore Airlines’ customers from the Belgian city of Brussels can fly to Singapore and beyond via three European hubs through a codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines.
Brussels Airlines, which offers the widest choice of flights from Belgium, will add the ‘SQ’ designator code on six weekly flights between Brussels and Barcelona, 24 weekly flights between Brussels and London and 12 weekly flights between Brussels and Milan, according to a Singapore Airlines report.
Singapore Airlines operates 21 weekly flights between Singapore and London, seven weekly flights between Singapore and Barcelona, and seven weekly flights between Singapore and Milan. From these hubs, customers of Singapore Airlines from Asia and the South West Pacific can continue their journey to Brussels on Brussels Airlines. Singapore Airlines does not fly to Brussels
